New Zealand Van Lines was the first household removals company in New Zealand to attain the prestigious quality standard ISO 9001:2000 certification. We were also first in the New Zealand industry to attain FAIM certification (FIDI Accredited International Mover), and the first to attain the environmental standard ISO 14001.
Today, our moving services benchmark is the FIDI FAIM Quality Standard. Environmental certification through Toitu, New Zealand’s primary sustainability accreditation aligned with ISO14064 standards, is our carbon reduction and monitoring solution.
Facilities
New Zealand Van Lines has invested in delivering world-class facilities within the New Zealand moving industry.
New facilities in Cromwell (servicing Queenstown and the Central Lakes area), complement those in Christchurch, Palmerston North, New Plymouth and Tauranga, which have all been constructed over the last 5 years. The latest facilities are 100% solar-powered.
Our Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch facilities are the largest in the New Zealand moving industry, offering internal container storage, as well as traditional liftvan storage. All facilities are secure and operate using the latest access control technology.
Import & Export Controlled Shipments
New Zealand Van Lines’ core business is international moving. We specialise in the clearance and delivery of international shipments from OMNI partners in any country to New Zealand.
New Zealand Van Lines won the OMNI Gold Award for regional sales & tonnage improvement in Australasia in 2021, and again in 2022 for tonnage improvement within the Australasian region, cementing our position as a key OMNI partner for international moves to and from New Zealand.
