Marc Smet, CEO of Gosselin Group, has advised that after 8 years of heading the company’s moving division, Marcel Jörg is stepping down from that role. Marcel will continue to serve as a board member in the Gosselin Group, provide support for projects and represent the company. With effect from 1 February 2026 the position of Managing Director for Gosselin’s Moving Division will be filled by Jackie Stouffer.
Jackie obtained her BA in international business and economics at the George Washington University. She started her career in the moving industry in 2012 as a move coordinator. Jackie spent the past 10 years working for JK Moving services in Washington DC in various positions and has occupied her current job there as VP International Services’ for the past 2 years. Jackie also serves the FIDI association as a member of the 39 club Board and is its former president. Marc said that the company is looking forward to welcoming Jackie at the headquarters in Antwerp early next year.
Marc also took the opportunity of thanking Marcel for his valuable contributions to Gosselin. “Marcel and his teams helped us to gain significant market share and recognition as a leading mover in the European theatre,” he said. “We are excited to continue our growth path on this foundation with Jackie and our dynamic management team in the driving seat.”
