Return to customs normality in Costa Rica

OMNI Member Grupo Mudanzas Mundiales in Costa Rica has announced that as of Friday the 24th of June the Virtual Tax Administration (ATV) and Information Technology for Customs Control (TICA)  platforms of the Costa Rican Ministry of Finance are restoring their usual service.

This follows a service interruption that lasted 2 months and directly affected the country’s nationalisation and tax payment processes for the entry of merchandise into Costa Rica slowing down many processes and forcing companies to adjust to the contingency plan for the national customs service.

Although the situation is gradually returning to normal the systems are intermittent and there are understandable complications resulting from a massive return of the entire Costa Rican customs operation to the technological environment.

Grupo Mudanzas Mundiales thanks its partners for their patience and asks to be contacted with any questions or doubts on mmlogistics@gmm.cr
