Overseas Packers & Shippers was founded in 1976, and have been moving people around the world for almost 50 years. Along with our new OMNI membership we are also members of FIDI – in fact we were the first company in Queensland to obtain this accreditation back in 1995.
Proudly 100% Australian owned, operated and managed by the McCluskey Family. That’s 4 generations of McCluskey’s moving people around the world for over 100 years.
WHAT WE DO
Overseas Packers & Shippers core business is international relocations which allows us to excel in providing our clients and partners around the world with a superior service always exceeding customers expectations. We can handle all types of personal effects shipments being conveniently located close to the Port of Brisbane and Brisbane International Airport.
WHAT WE HAVE
Overseas Packers & Shippers operate out of a 60,000sq ft purpose built facility in the northern suburbs of Brisbane. We built this facility in 2012 to accommodate our growing business needs. Our facility has 24/7 security with CTV cameras and security passes for access.
The facility is fully Customs Bonded with Australian Border Force allowing us the ability to pull shipments from the port back to the warehouse to commence the clearance process immediately.
We have a Quarantine wash bay and fumigation facilities on site to allow us to treat clients shipments on site quickly and efficiently.
For those of our OMNI partners with Moveware, we operate MoveTransfer allowing us to transfer files quickly and efficiently. We have dedicated import and export staff with direct access for online customs clearance systems to monitor and track incoming and outgoing shipments efficiently keeping clients regularly informed of the process.
With our own container haulage equipment we have the ability to efficiently retrieve shipments from the port without relying on third party operators.
We offer internal storage in timber homepacks and external storage in our fleet of 20ft HC containers.
WHAT WE OFFER
We have experienced Imports/Exports staff on site ready to provide our partners and clients with the best service possible.
When you consign your import/export shipment to Overseas Packers & Shippers we start the process immediately. Clients are allocated a move coordinator who will be the one point of contact through the process. We check relevant paperwork such as visa, customs forms and liaise with the client to iron out any issues well before the shipment arrives into port.
All inventories are screened by our staff for a Quarantine officer to sign off on when they are on site. When the time comes paperwork is submitted electronically to Australian Border Force so they can start their clearance process.
