Asian Tigers Mobility Japan appoints new Managing Director

Eric Lim, Chairman of Asian Tigers Mobility Japan, is delighted to announce the appointment of Tomomi Fujita as the Managing Director of the company who will lead the company effective September 1, 2019.

Tomomi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education and has a Japanese teaching certificate.  After graduation from University in Tokyo, Tomomi moved to Oregon, USA as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Oregon.  There she learned English as her second language and learned first-hand what the challenges are to live overseas in a foreign country.

Tomomi started her relocation career over 20+ years ago, at a real estate company in Tokyo specializing in assisting expatriates.  She has steadily progressed in her education and knowledge of the relocation business and rejoined the industry in 2001.  She holds a Japanese real-estate brokers license providing ATM Japan with additional expertise when negotiating property leases or purchases. Tomomi is a very active member of Tokyo American Club Women’s group and was honorably chosen as a Director of Charity at the Board of the Women’s group.  She is also a member of American Chamber of Commerce in Japan and is supporting a committee, “Women in Business”.

Tomomi was born and raised in the Minato-ku area of Tokyo, which is the most popular area for expatriates.  She still lives in the same area with her American husband.  She loves watching all kinds of sports, especially baseball, and is a big fan of the Tokyo Swallows.

On asking Tomomi how she felt taking on the appointment, she replied “Having been a local competitor for so long and having admired the Asian Tigers organization for decades, I now have the opportunity to be part of the team.  I am very honored to be joining such a strong and professional organization.”
