Dear Partners and Colleagues,
Recent severe earthquakes in Venezuela have caused significant damage, particularly in the coastal region. Fortunately, our team and facilities are safe. However, we would like to provide an urgent update regarding the Port and Airport infrastructure for both import and export shipments:
Maiquetía International Airport (CCS): Currently closed and completely inoperative due to structural damage and runway cracks. All air freight operations are suspended until further notice.
Port of La Guaira: Cargo operations are temporarily halted. The area has been declared a disaster zone, and authorities are currently assessing structural stability.
Please expect delays on all pending shipments. We are closely monitoring the situation and will evaluate alternative logistics solutions where possible.
Further update provided 29.6.26
Following up on our previous update, please note that all incoming vessels are now being diverted to the Port of Puerto Cabello, and cargo flights are being rerouted to Valencia Airport.
We are fully committed to keeping your shipments moving smoothly while adapting to these post-earthquake conditions and realities. Rest assured, we are working closely with local authorities to ensure our operations continue with minimal disruption.
We will keep you updated as new information becomes available. Thank you for your understanding and continued support during this challenging time.
