FINK Celebrates its 100th Anniversary

Founded a century ago, in 1924, FINK Mobility began its journey by consolidating donations to the impoverished victims of the World War and shipping from Brazil to Europe. It was the start of a humble transportation company, gradually growing to become a global player in the mobility sector, known for its high quality and impeccable ethics.

In its early years, FINK Mobility primarily focused on moving services, catering to the local community’s transportation needs. The company’s commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction laid the foundation for its expansion. Over the decades, FINK Mobility diversified its business areas to include fine art and trade fair logistics, immigration and DSP, port operations, customs bonded terminals, cultural events, and mega sports events logistics, as well as special complex projects, responding to the changing needs of the market.

During these last 100 years, FINK participated in amazing projects. These included moving the government of the capital of  Brazil from Rio de Janeiro to Brasilia; performing the distribution of all the school books from the Ministry of Education to all Brazilian schools, including transporting books up the Amazon River on canoes to reach the villages in the forest; and doing the logistics for all the mega sports events ever held in the country: the Pan American Games, the FIFA Confederations Cup, the FIFA World Cup, the Olympic Games, to name a few. FINK has always been the company in Brazil providing quality and reliability, experience, and expertise, during the last 100 years.

FINK is a proud OMNI member, since the beginning of this important association. FINK has also been extremely active in the international moving industry, participating in boards, and voluntarily working for the moving and the fine art transportation industries. FINK was one of the founders of LACMA. It also gave LACMA its first President, the youngest President as well as the first woman President. FIDI also was supported by Laura Ganon, FINK CEO, during her tenure of 9 years on its Board of Directors and then as FIDI President. In the Fine Art arena, FINK also holds a Steering Committee position in ICEFAT.

The key to FINK Mobility’s longevity lies in its ability to embrace technological advancements while making people a priority. Customers, the FINK team, and the community are FINK´s primary concern. As the world transitioned into the digital age, FINK Mobility seamlessly integrated cutting-edge technologies into its operations. This forward-thinking approach allowed the company to stay ahead of the curve, offering innovative solutions to its clientele.

Today, the FINK Group stands as a global example for quality and compliance, with a robust presence in the industries of which it is part. The group’s key indicators reflect its success, with impressive figures in terms of revenue, over US$ 200 million in 2023, and customer satisfaction, which averaged 95.84% last year. FINK Mobility has strategically positioned itself as an industry leader, setting benchmarks for efficiency, sustainability, and social responsibility.

One of the noteworthy accomplishments of FINK Mobility is its commitment to sustainability, social and environmental. The company has implemented a comprehensive strategy to improve emissions measurements, reduce its carbon footprint, and continuously enhance its eco-friendly operational practices and socially responsible initiatives. This dedication to sustainability not only aligns with global initiatives but also enhances FINK Mobility’s brand image as a socially responsible corporate citizen.

This year, when FINK Mobility celebrates its 100th anniversary, it chose sustainability over partying. It was a hard decision, but certainly the most responsible one. The funds FINK would have spent to organise a party have instead been donated to ASM do Brasil, an Institution that teaches classical music, providing social and cultural education to youngsters living in very poor communities. It provides profession and means to earn their living for many. In conclusion, FINK Mobility’s journey of 100 years is a story of evolution, innovation, and adaptability. From its humble beginnings to its status as a global mobility player, the company has successfully navigated the complexities of the industry with resilience and foresight. As FINK Mobility continues to evolve, its legacy serves as an inspiration for businesses striving for longevity and relevance in an ever-changing world.
