De Haan Project Moves awarded Commercial Mover of the year 2021 by Recognized Project Movers

At the general meeting of the Recognized Project Movers, part of the industry association of the Dutch moving industry OEV, we were awarded today the title Recognized Project Mover of the Year 2021.

Recognized Project Movers are specialized in the implementation of large, complex and risky relocations of companies, offices and institutions. De Haan Project Movers received this prestigious award, because in the past 12 months they scored the highest marks on quality, craftsmanship, customer focus and flexibility in business relocations.

Steve Jordan speaks to Mark Costa-Rising, Group Sales and Marketing Director, AGM Group, about Gerson Relocation: a probationer member of OMNI and a company with a rich history.

It was back in 1961 that Michael Gerson founded his eponymous company. It grew quickly and developed a name and reputation that was synonymous with quality. In fact, during the 1980s, the company was so well known on the world stage that it was instantly recognisable just by its distinctive corporate shade of green: a trade advert, for example, simply needed a verdant splash somewhere on the page to be identified as representing this iconic brand.

OMNI Spotlight on… Clover Group

Clover Group is the new Probationer member of OMNI in Venezuela. Steve Jordan interviewed Holly Rincon about the company and the difficulties of doing business in a country suffering from political turmoil.

Clover Group was started back in 1964 by Luis Alfredo Rincon who soon became well known in the moving industry. Although the company started in the removals business, it quickly expanded to include logistics services. Today, moving represents only 10% of Clover’s business.

Luis Holst Echeverria leaves Mudanzas Mundiales Mobility

Mudanzas Mundiales have advised that Luis Holst Echeverría, Mobility Manager, is no longer working with them.

“During the 9 years that he worked in the company, he performed first as Quality Improvement Engineer, before overseeing the pricing unit, until his final appointment as Mobility Manager.” said Carlos José Zuniga, President.

Barbara Overbay Promoted to the Role of Vice President of Operations with Aires

Aires is pleased to announce the promotion of Barbara Zuendt Overbay to the role of Vice President, Operations. In this new role, Barbara will have oversight of Aires’ Operations teams globally. She currently manages Aires’ Northeast Region teams; this promotion will increase her responsibility to include all U.S. offices as well as the company’s operations in the EMEA and APAC regions.
