Grace launches “Grace Gives” program

Grace Gives 2017 is a program designed to recognise and give back to five deserving community groups and award five deserving groups with a $10,000 grant to go towards their local community.

Sub categories include groups that: Focus on marginalised, excluded or disadvantaged communities; Create relationships and environments where people are empowered; Actively involve people and communities; Build inclusiveness; and Involve approaches that are likely to bring about solutions to complex problems.

Updates to OMNI country guides

We have made a number of updates to our comprehensive Country Guides.

Recent updates to guides include: Gibraltar, Trinidad and Tobago, Montserrat, Gambia, Georgia, Dominican Republic, Tanzania, Moldova, Grenada and Thailand

We have also updated and verified visa information for all countries from Saudi Arabia to Zimbabwe. Other time-sensitive information like events and safety information is also updated regularly.

We are continuously adding new content, and are in the process of expanding existing guides to include even more useful information.

John Mason helps to save the Kiwi

John Mason International has partnered with Kiwis for Kiwi, the New Zealand charity that is helping to protect its national bird, which is at risk of extinction.

The company will be supporting a kiwi bird for every family it moves to New Zealand. The promise of adopting a kiwi is a move that could help protect and grow the numbers of the country’s rare and endangered mascot. Customers who move to New Zealand with John Mason will receive a photo and be kept up to date with the kiwi’s progress.

Liverpool-based global removals and shipping company John Mason International, along with its marketing agency Carswell Gould, won the ‘Performance Marketing Campaign’ category and came runner-up for ‘Best Content Creation’.

The changing shape of relocation trends

The US workforce is changing and, with it, so are the ways in which employees are being relocated for companies across the United States, according to a recent survey by Cartus: Relocation Policy and Practices Survey. The report examines the responses of 141 mobility managers representing more than 10 million employees. While the overall survey explores trends in how companies are supporting home sale for transferring employees, responding to a growing rental population, and developing intern programmes, the primary finding is the identification of a changing pattern in employee relocation, in which an increasing demand for flexibility is translating into different types of work transfers.
